Restored using original local materials, including hemp, lime and larchwood.

The house is named after the mountain “Le Grand Area” (2869 metres) located on the south side of the Guisane valley.

Habitat : between 1200 and 2800 m.

The “ Rhodos” Bedroom
2 single beds + mezzanine with 1 double bed, ensuite bathroom with shower and wc.

Common name : Alpine Rhododendron.
Latin name: Rhododendron ferrugineum.
Family : Ericaceae.
Flowering : early summer.
Colour : red or pink.
Habitat : from 1500 m to 2500 m.

The “ Edelweiss” Bedroom
1 double bed + 1 sofa bed (2 people) + folding guest bed (1 person),
